The Artemis Team - Services
For over a decade we have provided support and accommodation for care leavers and young offenders. Our aim has been to empower individuals to lead respectful independent lives within the community.
Through our skilled, highly trained and motivated team of professionals, we have developed an in-depth support programme of interventions and empowerment processes for families, achieving successful outcomes in terms of monitoring family units and preventing children entering the care system.
These skills have also helped many mothers with babies, both in terms of support and accommodation.
Young People / Care Leavers
In 2003, the Artemis Team was established to accommodate and/or support young people & care leavers, setting clear, achievable goals via our independent Life Skills programme we achieve positive outcomes that lead to respectful, independent lives. We are AQA Accredited Trainers, enabling us to provide useful, practical skills and our entire programme of activity focuses around the key principles of NEET & EET.
Additional Needs
The Artemis Team boasts extensive knowledge and experience when supporting and/or accommodating with people with learning disabilities and additional needs, including Asperges and Autism. Placing Safeguarding as a priority, we are able to achieve positive outcomes, enabling confidence and progression whatever the diagnosis.
Mother & Baby
Becoming a parent is daunting enough, especially so when you are young and single – possibly without family of any sort. The Artemis Team has as specialist trained team of support workers, focusing solely on preparing young mums for the journey ahead. Our decade long knowledge and experience of equipping her with the skills necessary to become a good parent are second to none.
Asylum / Non-indigenous
Since our inception in 2003 The Artemis Team has provided a highly experienced team of multi-ethnic support workers, able to safeguard and support asylum seekers/non- people to positive outcomes. Translation support is available where necessary, provided alongside support and/or accommodation. We have also developed a full and extensive programme for NRPF.
Families
The Artemis Team has provided a Family Intervention and Support service for over 12 years, which has enabled us to compile a team of highly skilled and motivated family and support workers. With Child Safeguarding at the top of our agenda, our aim is to maintain a family unit and as such we provide training and advice to empower families to achieve ‘Care System Prevention’. Our intensive programme of tried and tested skills and pathways are on hand, to achieve positive outcomes in every case.
